Civil Rights and the Personal: Moments of Voicing Identity

Maria Carrillo gives a Martin Luther King (MLK) day speech at her High School.  She was asked to sing but, instead, she bravely gives this “coming out” talk to her school, changing her life, and relations around her, forever.  Maria understands, obviously, what King wanted for Humans and Civil Rights.
